Here is how Insitu Terrazzo is constructed. These terrazzo marble tiles are divided into panels measuring no more than 1500mm square, with an ideal bay size of 1200mm x 1200mm. Rectangular bays are possible, however, one side cannot be more than 2 times the length of the other side.

  • Leaves no gloss on the floor. If you want a semi matte finish this is ideal for that purpose.
  • Not recommended for high traffic areas as it may track
  • Recommended for residential, shops and office foyer applications
  1. Polished with impregnating sealer
  • Polished on site to the same degree as factory finished marble leaving a high shine floor
  • Not recommended for high traffic areas as it may track
  • Recommended for residential, shops and office foyer applications
  1. Brushed Finished (Antiquing) with impregnating sealer
  • Polished on site as per honed finished
  • Floor is then passed with brushes to give an antiqued appearance
  • Floor can still have a sealer finish applied if desired
  • It is not recommended for high traffic areas as it may track
  • Recommended for residential, shops and office foyer applications. Works very well with urban interior design

Note that according to Terrazzo Australia Marble: options 2 to 4 are non-standard finishes and may result in additional costs.
