In addition to its very distinct look, terrazzo is highly durable, very low-maintenance and it arbitrarily adds a very luxurious feeling and modernity to one\u2019s living space. Today terrazzo has been used to make furniture, lighting, and decor. Terrazzo is simply beautiful! Whatever finish one chooses whether the standard Sealed Polished Finish which is recommended for commercial retail projects. Where the terrazzo floor is ground on site and a protective shiny sealer is applied to the surface floor. The sealer is maintained to ensure that the glossy floor always looks like new. A Machine Polished Finish, where the terrazzo floor is ground and machine polished on site with a penetrating sealer applied for added durability. This finish is suitable in areas with low foot traffic. There\u2019s the Honed Anti Slip Finish, where the terrazzo is ground on site to a honed finish, and if a non-slip finish is needed a non-slip additive is added to the manufacturing process.<\/span><\/p>\n
